    Happy New Year!

I wanted to start this year off by sharing my 10 best patterns from 2017. Even though I haven’t been blogging for an entire year, I still managed to share roughly 60 free patterns in only eight months! That seems unreal to me.

    Hello friends!

Well, the end of the year is upon us once again, but instead of feeling sad about it, this year I feel hopeful and excited for the year to come! Starting this blog and getting to share my crochet patterns with you all has been an amazing experience so far. I’m so blessed to be able to earn a living doing what I love and I am grateful for each and every one of you for your support!

To celebrate the coming new year, I designed this sparkly little gem of a cowl to wear to the party we attend every year at our neighbor’s house. No drinking and driving for us!

    Hanging Mittens

    Well hey there!

I just had to share this pattern for these adorable little hanging mittens!

There are actually a ton of uses for them. Off the top of my head, I came up with gift topper, gift card holder, hanging decoration for home or office, tree decoration, fill them with candy for small children and I’m pretty sure the size is great for the tiny hands of 1 or 2-year-olds as actual gloves!

    Denim & Ivory Lapghan

    Hello everyone!

For the next two weeks, I wanted to create a couple super simple patterns that could be worked up quickly — items that would make great gifts. Because even if it isn’t a holiday, we still manage to give gifts and make donations year round, don’t we?

So this week, I designed the cutest little lap afghan, a lapghan if you will. (If that’s not already a word, it really should be! Ha!)

    Candy Cane Wreath

    Hello everyone!

I just can’t believe how fast the time is going. It really needs to slow down. I can remember being a kid and it seemed to take F-O-R-E-V-E-R for Christmas to get here and now you blink and it’s over… *Sigh*

One thing I do enjoy is working on holiday crochet projects! It makes the holidays last just a tiny bit longer as I work away on my decorations and gifts.

And this week, I’ve created the Christmas edition of the crochet wreaths I’ve been designing for all of you!

    Snowy Sky Shawl

    Hi everyone!

This triangle shawl has such a unique look to it, especially with the color changing yarn I used. I just couldn’t stop looking at it while it hung on my mannequin. There’s an amazing texture present that I love. It almost looks like a layered shell, but it isn’t. Does that make sense? Ha!

Anyway, I’m thrilled with how it turned out and it’s going to a very special person!

It’s the final week of the six week series dedicated to ornaments that double as gift card holders! This week I created an easy little snowman’s hat that would make Frosty proud.

    Winter Wishes Wrap

    Hey there!

The other day I was thinking…there are so many holiday parties coming up. What am I going to wear?

Sometimes you want to dress up, buy a pretty new outfit or dress and do you really want to cover up with a bulky coat? I know I don’t. On the other hand, I don’t want to freeze either! Dilemmas, dilemmas.

So I came up with the Winter Wishes Wrap!

  • Coal Bag Ornament

Oh my, did I have fun with this one!

It’s Week 5 of the 6 week series where I’ve released a new thread crochet pattern for an ornament that doubles as a gift card holder.

This week, I was feeling a little playful! Do you have someone on your list that would appreciate a good gag gift? A relative or coworker? How about Secret Santa?
