The Rainbow Sunglasses Pouch pattern is so fun! It works up quickly and easily and the little cloud detail at the top is completely adorable.

It isn’t just sunglasses that this colorful pouch can hold. Honestly, you can hold just about anything that you’d like to carry with you. Let’s explore some options…
This would make a great gift for child to keep their secret treasures in. Or their sunglasses. They could even use it as a pencil case for school!
You can keep you reading glasses inside to protect them from getting scratched. The Rainbow Sunglasses Pouch is easily found in any size bag. π
I was able to fit my cell phone inside and it is a larger phone too.
And here is another fun aspect. Add a carabiner to the upper portion of the clouds and you can attach it to just about anything! Never loose your glasses again!
At the end of the pattern, I will include the brief stitch tutorial. This stitch is essentially a modified version of the trinity stitch. Once you get the hang of it, you will effortlessly cruise through the pattern, which makes the Rainbow Bottle Holder a good pattern for working on while watching TV! My favorite type of pattern!
To simplify the pattern even more, you can always use a self striping yarn or a solid color. Not having to change colors for every row will make this already quick pattern work up even faster.
I decided to make this with soft cotton instead of a scratchy acrylic yarn, which will be more comfortable in the warmer weather. If you chose to make the rainbow version, you could reasonably make several holders with the six skeins of yarn. A great idea for craft fairs!
Iβve also created a Rainbow Bottle Holder that matches the Rainbow Sunglasses Pouch, which is perfect accessory for all of your summertime adventures. Be sure to click the link to see the sister pattern.
