Recently I discovered my love of making appliques! I love being able to use my creativity to create a form of art and the fact that my medium is yarn…that just blows my mind. I used to draw and paint when I was younger, but I never imagined I’d be able to turn a drawing into something tangible.

I can’t wait! I’m so ready for flowers, short sleeves, open windows and sunshine. I’ve always felt like Easter was the unofficial kickoff to Spring. It’s just that this year, Easter is very early. Here in Pennsylvania, we’ll be dealing with the white stuff for several more weeks.
Jack-O’-Lantern Applique

I’m here today to share my design for a jack-o’-lantern applique.
There are so many things you can do with an applique such as attaching to bags, clothing, blankets, decor, etc. This applique was used on the Halloween Wreath that I designed. You can see that pattern at the link.
