    Well hello there!

This is my very first C2C (corner to corner) project I have ever done and I am so proud of how it turned out. I’ve done three other graphgans before — you know the kind that are done with only single crochets — so I was already used to changing colors and whatnot. I have to say, though, that I’m very impressed with the C2C technique! It’s much faster than the graphgan and easier to follow. I can’t wait to make a few more!

    Hi everyone!

I’m back again to share the matching towel to the Ocean Waves Washcloth!

This towel is a little wider than the washcloth and I also designed it so that it is incredibly easy. There are no increases or decreases like in the traditional towel topper patterns with only a single button. This is completely beginner friendly and it will look like you bought it!

    Fireside Throw

    Hey there!

I’m so proud to share my project in Sewrella’s Designer Program — The Fireside Throw!

When Ashleigh first contacted me to ask if I’d like to participate in her Designer Program, I had one of those, “OMG, she knows my name!” kind of moments. Ashleigh is one of the rock stars of the crochet industry and I had been following (and drooling) over her work for quite some time.

    Well hello there!

With summer quickly approaching, it’s almost time for spending more time outdoors and less time inside crocheting. Personally, I crochet year round, but I prefer smaller projects when it’s warm outside. Who wants to sit under a huge heavy blanket in the summer? I sure don’t.

That’s why I have designed the cutest little pattern for you! It’s quick, beginner friendly and oh so useful! You can never have too many washcloths/dishcloths.

  • Creamsicle Wrap

    Hey there!

Did you ever start out making something with an idea in mind only to discover that, whoops, that’s not what I intended to make? Well that’s what happened with this pattern. Originally I was going to make a nice summery scarf. As I started working and getting further into the pattern, I realized that I made it too wide!

Oh well. Now it’s a wrap! Actually it can be multiple things and I love the pattern more now that I messed it up than I did the original idea. Sometimes life is funny that way. 🙂

    Hey there!

    April showers bring May flowers!

Here is the second shawl in the themed set. Last week I released the pattern for the April Showers Shawl that you can see at the link. Be sure to check it out. It has raindrop shaped holes. How cute is that!

The April Showers Shawl brings smiling faces! 😀

    Hey there!

Spring is here and surprise, surprise it’s raining! (At least it’s too warm to snow. 😉 )

So my little family was sitting in Denny’s waiting for our orders after we finished shopping at Hobby Lobby for yarn for my newest project, when my husband says to me, “I’ve got this idea for a set of themed shawls.” My husband usually comes up with some pretty good ideas, I must say, but I don’t think he was expecting the reaction he got after telling me this idea.

  • Chick Applique

    Hey there!

Recently I discovered my love of making appliques! I love being able to use my creativity to create a form of art and the fact that my medium is yarn…that just blows my mind. I used to draw and paint when I was younger, but I never imagined I’d be able to turn a drawing into something tangible.

    Hey there! Ready for Spring?

I can’t wait! I’m so ready for flowers, short sleeves, open windows and sunshine. I’ve always felt like Easter was the unofficial kickoff to Spring. It’s just that this year, Easter is very early. Here in Pennsylvania, we’ll be dealing with the white stuff for several more weeks.
